I think Irina Slutskaya is the best female skater in the world today. She has already won the hearts of fans all over the world. I pray she will have golden moments at the 2002 European, World and Olympic Competitions. She is truly very deserving and number one in my books. I always cheer for her and hope she wins every time I see her skate. Keep believing in yourself Irina for you are strong, proud, determined and very gifted. Next year will be your year Irina!

Irina's style of skating is refreshing... it's technical, but it's also upbeat, and very pretty. She makes skating look fun, something I haven't seen in a while. Thank you Irina!

Irina, your technical ability is second to none, it's fantastic. I love your presence on the Ice, and when it was combined with your Magestic, spectacular, and awsome CARMEN programme, it was unbeatable.
I'm sorry about the Worlds, I thought you had done enough to beat Michelle Kwan.
Please, Please, Please, bring back your CARMEN Prog. and it will undoubtly win you EVERYTHING next season, including Olympics. It is the programme of a CHAMPION.

Irina is indeed a very talented and great figure skater.  I followed the Women's World Champion programs from the beginning to the end.  However, I was very disappointed with the judging on the final night.  Personally, I thought Irina desevered the first place, the title!  She has good heights, and her two triple followed immediate by a double axil are terrfic!  I really think she should've gotten first place.  Well, keep up with your great skating, and best wishes for you  ^_^

I actually cried when the results of Worlds came in.  You were beautiful to watch.  I fet the disappointment that showed in your face for days after the event and felt you had deserved the gold. I wish you all the luck in the world at the Olympics!

At first I hated figure skating, but since last year,when I first saw Irina skating, It becamed one of my favourite sports(I`m thinking about building a site about it).
In my opinion she is not only the best skater ao ice, she is not only the best jumper on ice, she in not only the best artist on ice, she is not only the most beautifull girl on ice , she is the most beautifull girl who walks the face of the earth.

I believe Irina has a perfect combination of powerful skating with excellent jumps and natural grace and elegance. She wins again with her drive and beauty!

Hi! My name is Karen. I am a big fan of both Michelle Kwan and Irina Slutskaya. They are both true competitors. They are so devoted and dedicated.And they have such a good sportsmanship. Unlike Alexi Yagudin who got so excited when Plusheco popped up his combination at Worlds. Michelle Kwan has an exquisite artistic style. And she has improved a lot since Worlds, However she doesn't have the beautiful height and extension Irina has on her jumps. It seems to me that kwan's jumps are fast but not very heigh. Irina on the other hand has another style. She is so naturally talented. She skates right from her heart. and that rawness is very exciting. Sometimes I have the feeling that Kwan's skating is sort of pretentious. Her Carmen, Ariane, Beetle and Red Violin program aren't as good as her Rachmanioff and Lyra Angelica... Hope she uses them at the 2002 game. and A word on Irina's program. the seductive style of Carmen doesn't suit Irina. I think her signature piece is Don Quxiote. It brought out the best in her. Artistically and Technically..see yeah..
