On September 9, 1995, Nancy wed her agent,  Jerry Solomon in a non denominational ceremony in Boston, Massachusetts.  Nancy tried to keep her nuptials a secret but word quickly spread to the press and many photographers greeted her as she exited the church.  The guests included the bride and groom's family and close friends. Only two figure skaters attended the wedding: Paul Wylie and Lilly Lee. Contrary to rumors, Nancy's dress was not designed by Vera Wang but instead by Jeff Billings.
